It has been restored from earlier backups so all the info is still available but some of the fancy bits, layout and pictures need to be reserected. This will happen once issue 4 of The NZ Ephemerist is released (release dtae is 21 March and so far everything is on schedule).

Having visited his blog from time to time over the last two or three years I can highly recommend it as the best place by far to see the wide compass of bookplate design and production.

Amongst them two people stand out for their contribution to recording and preserving the history of the art of the bookplate in New Zealand.

Ian Thwaites and Rie Fletcher, both members of the Auckland Ex Libris Society, have researched and presented bookplates with New Zealand origins or associations through articles, exhibitions and high quality limited edition books produced by the Puriri Press (Auckland). A short handlist of the works they have produced individually or collectively can be found here
